Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19, built in the early 1950s, was the first mass-produced supersonic fighter. The experience gained during the design and implementation of new technologies in this aircraft greatly helped the designers in the construction of subsequent modifications of the MiG aircraft. Serial MiG-19 had the index RM. The direct model for the serial MiG-19 was the CM-9/1, which took off on January 5, 1954. The aircraft did not yet have a plate-like horizontal wing. Therefore, the first series of MiG-19 aircraft had a classic tail. Summer tests of the MiG-19 with a plate wing continued throughout 1955. Shortly after that, serial production of the MiG-19S aircraft, based on the SM-9/3 prototype, began. It is from it that planes of various purposes leave. High-altitude fighter MiG-19SV built in 1956. MiG-19R reconnaissance aircraft and short-series MiG-19SF aircraft, developing a speed of 1560 km/h. The second line of development consists of aircraft built on the basis of the CM-7 prototype, equipped with an on-board RP-5 radar station. New interceptors were developed. The proven sample of the SM-7/2 turned into the MiG-19P aircraft, then the MiG-19PF and MiG-19PG with the "Horizont-1" station were built. (used to guide the aircraft to the target according to the data of the ground command post). A small series of the MiG-19PU aircraft was built with additional rocket boosters. The proven SM-7/2M sample, equipped with the RP-2U radar station and armed with 4 RS-2U (K-5) guided missiles, was produced under the designation MiG-19PM. The MiG-19PM aircraft variant was equipped with the MiG-19PM "Lazur" telemetry device. MiG-19 aircraft were used in the countries of the Warsaw Pact: USSR, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, GDR, Poland, Romania and Hungary, as well as in China, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria and Cuba. Production of the aircraft began in Czechoslovakia (MiG-19S as C-105) and China, where aircraft were first produced under license under the designation J-6, and then based on their own designs. Technical data: length: 12.54m, wingspan: 9m, height: 3.9m, maximum speed: 1455km/h, rate of climb: 180m/s, maximum range: 1390km, maximum ceiling 17500m, armament: HP-30 caliber 30 mm, suspended - the most common were 4 "Pennant" rockets. K-13 "air-air".
